Neil Mackenzie provides professional stained glass restoration in Jersey and France, from small repairs to complete church windows. Each project ensures seamless restoration, preserving original beauty while meeting modern standards.
Restoration
Over many years Neil Mackenzie of Visionary Fine Arts has built up a reputation, with a wide experience of restoring stained glass windows. From a single small piece of broken glass being copied or repaired, to large whole windows made up of thousands of pieces.
He has undertaken restoration projects in Jersey. Channel Islands, and France, that have involved taking out many large windows. Repairing or replacing all of the broken or missing parts, and then rebuilding them as new.
Either working closely with Architects and Contractors, or directly with the church, our work is always on time and always on budget. We take great pride in creating a seamless match to any restoration which we carry out.
We are also able to carry out a general maintenance program and cleaning of church windows, reviving their colours, and re-sealing them for longer life. These types of program can be scheduled over a period of time to fit in with church events, planning and budgets.
This restoration forms part of Neil Mackenzie’s wider stained glass practice in Jersey and France.
In addition to restoration, Neil Mackenzie designs and creates bespoke stained glass windows for churches, private homes, and public buildings. View selected stained glass creation projects.
